"One thing I wish was clearer before attending UFCD is that everything is shared space. Sim lab is shared not only by D1 & D2 students, but also with CE courses on the weekends and faculty training."
"There is a general "work hard, play hard" mentality at the school which encourages students to also carve out time for socializing and extracurricular activities."
"The workstations also need constant maintenance. Many times, workstations break down in the middle of a procedure and you have to set up a whole new chair to finish a procedure on a patient."

What are the best things about attending University of Florida College of Dentistry (UFCD)?

UFCD is located in the small college town of Gainesville, FL. The weather is your typical year-round sunny and hot with rainy summers. The town has many hiking trails at Payne’s Prairie, lakes for water activities, as well as some great local eats and breweries. The school is about 1.5hrs from the closest beach in St. Augustine and is about 2-2.5hrs away from larger cities like Tallahassee, Jacksonville, Tampa, Orlando.
