What are the best things about attending Roseman University’s College of Dental Medicine?
Roseman really allows its students to have a life outside of dental school. For example, some Roseman students are married and have children, and our schedule allows them to tend to their families much more than other schools. Roseman is also very family oriented, meaning they structure fundraisers or events around families and make sure to consider students who have families.

What are the worst things about attending Roseman University’s College of Dental Medicine?
Roseman’s exams seem to be very simple in both their approach (overall difficulty) and phrasing of the questions. Because a passing grade at Roseman is a 90%, it seems that the questions have to be simple. I don't know if the exams are truly preparing us for the rigor of boards, but Roseman students don't seem to have a problem passing boards, which is great. However, I don't know how much of a learning curve there is when preparing for the increased difficulty of board questions compared to studying for Roseman’s exams.

What do students need to know/What do you wish you knew before attending Roseman University’s College of Dental Medi
Talk to multiple upperclassmen when you come to take a tour or interview and ask how much experience they are getting in the clinic. A decent handful seem to continue their education with a general practice residency to try and get more experience. If you want to specialize it is still possible to do from Roseman, but may be harder due to their curriculum.
