"The schedule for the first two semesters gives you the free time to go hang out with friends and enjoy Los Angeles."

What are the best things about attending Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry at USC?

USC Ostrow is BIG on hand skills and clinical experience. You grab a handpiece and start drilling on Week Zero (Orientation Week). The Simlab modules prepare you well for clinic. Once you get to clinic, you never have a problem finding patients. The waiting rooms and clinics at the school are always packed with patients.

The simulation lab experience and the clinical experience at USC is truly one of a kind. Our program teaches us the fundamentals of dentistry but also provides an emphasis on aesthetic restorations with the guidance of respected and internationally renowned faculty. Every faculty member that grades and gives feedback in sim lab are highly qualified and are very well-respected in southern California. This gives you a chance to not only learn how to do procedures such as crown preps and making provisionals, but also to get to know successful dentists in the area.
