"During the first year of school, classes are very similar to those taken by the first-year medical students and many of the professors are the same; however, our classes are not as in-depth and focus on what is more relevant to the dental field."
"It can be difficult to fulfill certain requirements despite the large patient pool, simply because patients cannot afford, or are reluctant to adhere to, certain treatments."
"The exam schedules can be brutal for the first two years."

What are the best things about attending Rutgers School of Dental Medicine?

At Rutgers there are about 90-100 students per class, meaning you know everyone and everyone knows you. Not only do students get to know one another very well, but faculty take the time to get to know each one of their students, making this school a very close-knit environment. Most faculty are always willing to help and will take the time to make sure students understand what they are doing and some faculty even stay after hours to help students practice for practicals or catch up on any assignments.
