"You’ll end up having a test almost every other week, which is mentally exhausting."
"Another pro is going to a school that’s located close to center city in Philadelphia. It seems like every class makes an effort to go out together on the weekends."
"One of the cons of attending Temple Dental is that although you get lots of complex patient cases, a lot of the time you can’t provide the best treatment plan for them due to finances."

What are the best things about attending The Maurice H. Kornberg School of Dentistry, Temple University?

One of the best things about attending Temple Dental is how fast you learn hand skills and prepare for clinic. I’ve always been told that Temple has a great clinical program, and after going through it, I would have to agree. When you start clinic at the end of your second year, everything really seems to come naturally from the amount of practice you had in pre-clinic. When I compared myself to students at other dental schools, I felt like I was more ahead. For example, we had already started practicing preps while they were still doing wax ups of teeth. Almost all of Temple’s clinical requirements are in the double-digits, which gives students an edge for after they graduate compared to other schools with less requirements.
