"This new curriculum serves to be more time-efficient for faculty and students in and out of the classroom."
"The admissions process itself is one of the weakest aspects of the school. The interview process is chaotic for many students."
"A list of tutors for the didactic and pre-clinical courses are emailed at the beginning of each semester. Students should take advantage of tutors, especially in the lab courses."

What are the best things about attending University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry?

It is common for students to feel anxious before starting dental school, no matter how far you are from home. Luckily, UDM’s dental admissions committee brought together phenomenal individuals who come from all walks of life. The admissions officers had us participate in ice-breakers, scavenger hunts, and networking events during Orientation Week, which helped unite our class and find the people we really gelled with. Every D1 is assigned a “big brother/sister” from the D2 class; they are amazingly helpful. My big has been by my side since Day 1 to provide helpful resources, advice, or support that others wouldn’t have given to me until much later in the semester. The big/little program enables us to effortlessly meet other upperclassmen and get involved in student organizations within the first month of school.
