"The best part about UMKC dental school is the renovated pre-clinical laboratory and the early exposure to clinic."
"You can expect to be at school for an average 5 hours per day. You will have a lot of free time during your first semester to study, as well as live your life."
"The grading system for our pre-clinical laboratories is unfair because it is not standardized."

What are the best things about attending University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Dentistry?

The best part about UMKC dental school is the renovated pre-clinical laboratory and the early exposure to clinic. UMKC recently invested millions of dollars in their new pre-clinical laboratory. With the new upgrades, UMKC’s goal is to simulate the most realistic clinical experience so that their students can feel prepared and confident practicing in a dental clinic after graduation. Another reason for the updates was to increase student productivity. For example, every laboratory bench is equipped with a monitor so that students can view demonstrations without any obstructions from the comfort of their own laboratory bench. Additionally, the new pre-clinical laboratory provides a safer working and learning environment. Unlike the previous laboratory, the new pre-clinical laboratory provides vacuum suctioning for trimming casts and other projects at every bench.
